אשר יליד ארה"ב עלה לישראל בגיל 15. בעשור האחרון, מרכז אשר את קורס מורי דרך באנגלית בשלוחת ירושלים של בית הספר לתיירות. אשר בעל תואר שני בארכאולוגיה מהאוניברסיטה העברית, יש לו נסיון מעשי בחפירות, מוסמך לרב, ועוסק בחינוך ובתיירות מעל 25 שנים. יש לאשר ניסיון כמנהל לקוחות בתיירות (TOUR OPERATOR) וכמורה דרך למגוון רחב של לקוחות; קבוצות ובודדים. אשר מביא לקורס את ניסיונו הרב בתחום התיירות והידע הרחב בהיסטוריה, ארכיאולוגיה ויהדות.
Meet Asher Altshul.
Asher was born in Boston, Mass and made Aliya at age 15. For the past ten years Asher has directed the English Tour Guide Course at our Jerusalem branch. Asher completed an MA in Archaeology at the Hebrew University, has field experience as an archaeologist, is and ordained rabbi, and an experienced educator. Asher has over 25 years of experience guiding individuals and groups from a variety of backgrounds and has also worked as a Tour Operator. He brings to the course his experiences in tourism industry and his knowledge in archaeology, history, Judaism, and the Land of Israel.
