In this in depth tour at the Biblical site of Megiddo, we will focus on understanding the history and archaeology of the site in 2 formative periods in its history: the Canaanite period and the Iron age 2 (the First Temple period), with extended reference to the problem of the United Monarchy (in the reign of Solomon) and the Minimalist-Maximalist controversy.

10:00-12:00 Canaanite gate "Solomonic" Gate and the northern palace 

12:00-12.30 The northern stables

12:30-13:30 Lunch

13:30-14:30 The lookout

14:30-16:00 The southern palace, southern stables and water system
